NCCR Holds Party For Mothers' Day The National Center for Community Rehabilitation in cooperation with Atfal Association for Playing and Education held a party celebrating Mothers' Day in the center's main branch, with the participation of 70 of the elite children of the center's kindergarten who suffer from hearing and speech problems, and their mothers. The party's introducer, Sausan El-Khalili, started the party by welcoming the guests and congratulating women on their day, and expressing appreciation for Palestinian mothers for their continuous struggle and sacrifice. She added that the Palestinian mother has a high stature and a bright image for her infinite generosity, saying that: "I liked her as a disabled, a worker, a housewife, a prisoner in the occupation's jails, and as a martyr in paradise, this is the Palestinian mother whom Allah blessed with all good characteristics to stand in any place in this life". El-Khalili also stated that Mother's Day means supporting mothers especially the disabled in all times and places and giving them their rights, as despite their suffering and sacrifice they still live in the margin of life because of the bad circumstances, siege and occupation. she also insisted that mothers' real day is the liberation day and when they will feel safe and sound. Additionally, the party included many activities done by kindergarten children and entertainment activities done by Playing and Education Association. At the end of the party, the children gave their mothers some roses and other gifts in an atmosphere full of joy and happiness, as an attempt from the children to break depression and suffering of which their mothers suffer under these hardships in Gaza Strip. |
