The National Center for
Community Rehabilitation , in cooperation with The Red
Crescent Society, concluded a course on First Aids,
targeting 28 persons of civil associations in the middle
governorate.
At the closing party of the
course, Dr. Wael Rezq, coordinator of home care programs
appraised the ambulance officers, specially the course
trainer, Awni Khattab for their influential endeavors in the
training course. Likewise, Dr. Rezq highlighted the
trainees' commitment and their desire for learning.
The ambulance officer, Awni
Khattab, apprised the NCCR's concerns for such essential
courses , referring to the magnitude of first aids during
the hard circumstances our Palestinian people go through ;
the latest events in particular. Khattab pointed out that
time is a crucial element that has to be exploited in the
first aid measures for the purpose of securing the injured
people. Also, he called the trainees to be as ambassadors in
their areas to apply what they have learnt.
Afterwards, certificates oh
honors were distributed by the NCCR on the ambulance
officers in the middle governorate, Mr. Awni Khattab, and
all trainees in the course.
This is to say that the
three-week-course included a set of lectures on evaluation
of the injured, refreshment and rubbing of the heart,
removal of strange parts from the body, and the chronic
diseases. Moreover, the course shed the light on the ways of
first aids for bleeding, fractures, wounds and poisons ,
additionally to mechanisms of shifting the mechanisms of
evacuation and shift of the injured people.
