In a
party held by the Creative Woman Association to award
winners of the Annual Creative Woman Award "First Term" in
Bader Cultural Center's hall, Sausan El-Khalili, coordinator
of arts workshop in the National Center for Community
Rehabilitation, was rewarded the award of the Creative Woman
in the field of painting. The arbitration panel consisted of
the great poet Ahmad Dahbour, the Palestinian director
Swailem El-Absy, Nadia Abu Nahla head of Women Affairs Crew,
head of board of directors of Women Affairs Center Nebras
Bseisu, Dr. Bassam Abu Hasheesh, plastic artist Basel El-Maqousy,
Donia El-Amal Ismael directress of the Creative Woman
Association, representatives of civil society associations,
knowledgeable and interested people.
Sausan El-Khalili delivered the speech of the winners in the
ceremony which included various artistic sections, and she
welcomed the attendants and thanked the Creative Woman
Association for their distinguished efforts through their
kind initiative to honor the creative women in the
Palestinian society.
El-Khalili expressed her pride and ecstasy for being chosen
with the winners for this year, pointing that creativity
means sincere sensation and locates in the person's ability
and skill to convert the idea of fantasy in his/her mind to
something real and tangible, as there is no creativity
without talent.
In
the same regard, Mr. Khaled Abu Zaid, chairman of the NCCR,
expressed appreciation to the great efforts exerted by
Sausan El-Khalili. Furthermore, he insisted that she was,
and is, and will always be a symbol the Palestinian disabled
woman who defies challenges and give much to the disabled,
pointing that she was chosen Employee of the Year in the
center for the year 2007.
It
is worthy to mention that Sausan El-Khalili is a volunteer
in the General Federation of the Disabled for 8 years, and
she represented the disabled more than once in the national
and international occasions.
