In the framework of her periodical visits to the National Center for Community Rehabilitation, Mrs. Anja Meulenbelt , Chairperson of Kifaia Foundation, visited the center in an effort to watch closely the center's activities and programs , and the Palestinian hard conditions as well.

   Mrs. Anja's visit took place concurrently with the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people; she gulped the bitterness of their suffering, and witnessed the children's death and collapse of houses on people.

   "One million and a half Palestinians are undergoing the trauma in the Gaza Strip" Mrs. Anja stated that confirming that would be the title of her upcoming article that would be allotted for the recent incidents in Gaza. She added that she always tries to make full advantage of her web log to convey what happens in the occupied territories.

   Mrs. Meulenbelt pointed out that the Israeli media is smarter and more effective than the Palestinian media despite the Palestinian just cause which is misrepresented to the European countries , displaying the Palestinian resistance as terrorists. Hence, the Palestinian media should improve its tools in an effort to manifest the real status quo in the Gaza Strip. She also pointed out that the Israeli pretext of aggression is always justified in self-defense. On the other hand, no one refers to the Palestine people's right  in defending themselves against the occupation.

   Mrs. Anja raised the troubles she faces when coming to the Palestinian territories , revealing that she is treated by the Israeli forces as a Palestinian since they usually try to make her visit hard as much as possible. However, that gives her more powerful understanding to the Palestinian people's suffering on checkpoints.

   Mrs. Meulenbelt concluded her speech with saying the Palestinian people is endowed with steadfastness and willpower, and masters the art of life in spite of all means of  repression.

   Mr. Khaled Abu Zaid, Chairman of the NCCR, expressed his extended appreciation for Mrs. Anja's exalted efforts  on her web log, and her non-stop support for the disabled people through courses and lectures which aim at promoting the capabilities of the home care teams. Mr. Abu Zaid denounced the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian that have resulted in further than 100 martyrs including a great deal of children. He also emphasized on the determinateness of the Palestinian unity  to face the Israeli aggression.
