The National Centre for Community Rehabilitation (NCCR)
mounted a communal breakfast for 950 of the disabled people
and deaf children, who receive medical, psychological and
educational services from the Centre, and their families.
800 of the disabled and their families from Gaza, Middle and
Northern governorates attended the communal breakfast which
was held in Palestine Hotel in Gaza City, while 150 of the
disabled and their families from the two southern
governorates attended the communal breakfast which was held
in the Centre's building in Khan
Younis Governorate. A spirit of delight prevailed in the
familial gathering which the Centre in used to hold every
Ramadan. Mr. Khalid Abu Zaid, chairman of the Centre,
pointed out that this invitation a practical translation for
the values and virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, like
social solidarity and mercy among members of the society. He
added that this breakfast expresses the unity needed under
the current situation away from the political complications
which we live in. it is valuable to mention that the NCCR
holds many communal breakfasts in different areas for the
disabled people and their families in Ramadan every year.
