:::NCCR Holds Lecture About (Children's Behavioral Problems and Domestic Violence):::

The National Center for Community Rehabilitation held a lecture about (Children's Behavioral Problems and Domestic Violence) for mothers of the children who suffer from speech/language and hearing problems. 20 mothers attended the lecture which was held in the Center's headquarter in Khan Younis.

          The lecture discussed defining violence in general and domestic violence in particular. It also handled types of domestic violence and the most vulnerable segment for it, in addition to types exploitation and its results and influence over the children's behavior.

          The discussion was highly opened with the mothers who confirmed the importance of the lecture at this time. Additionally, they raised many points and questions, some of them were directed to the female psychiatrist about ways to deal with their deaf sons.

          This lecture comes as a part of awareness and guidance lectures the Center holds regularly. These lectures target women in particular to raise their awareness of problems and needs of the disabled.
