1. Conducting home visits to parents of children under 3 through the Home Visits Program through which the parents were trained about how to take care of the hearing aids and how to train them to speak if they are semi-deaf. 25 mothers and 25 other deaf and semi-deaf children made use of this program  

2. The establishment of the Quick Hearing Examination Program at Kinder Gardens. Through this program, 3000 children from 4 to 6 years have been provided with quick hearing examinations in addition to middle ear examinations. After being checked, 65 cases were transferred  to the Pronunciation Clinic at the center. 

3. Language and Pronunciation Reformation Program:

  • Internal program: This program provided educational services to 64 children who suffer from various problems in speaking and pronunciation. Moreover, 20 of those children have been transformed to normal schools.

  • External program: language and pronunciation evaluation sessions have been held twice a week to 52 children from outside the center who were transferred to the center by the Quick Hearing Examination Program.

4. Holding five training courses in Methods of Detecting Children's Language and Pronunciation Problems, in addition to organizing another two courses in teaching Sign Language to deaf children.

5. Organizing a training course to nine teachers from the NCCR Staff in Methods of Hearing Rehabilitation and Early Detection of Disability.

6. 280 cases have been checks at the hearing clinic of the center and installing hearing aids to forty cases.

7. Providing the deaf children, at the center, with hearing rehabilitation services through the complete communication method.

8. Providing Group Pronunciation Therapy services to 65 children at the center and Individual Pronunciation Therapy to 30 of them as well as providing Pronunciation Therapy to 80 children outside the center.

9. Teaching the sign language to19 mothers of deaf children.

10. Participating in the celebrations of the International Day of Disabled, and holding a summer camp to merge the normal and disabled children together.

11. The NCCR held twenty increasing-awareness lectures, once a week, to mothers of children who passed examinations.  

12. Holding 30 lectures for women in coordination with Women associations and maternal centers.
